Setup before

Before setting up Single Sign on for your service, you'll need to do some preparation.

The following groups need to be created:

  • Fundamentals
  • Public RO
  • Public RW
  • Tools Admin RO
  • Tools Admin RW

You can put these groups wherever you like, you just need to let us know where in your AD they reside and we will sort the rest out. Alternatively, you can set up a Sync profile to collect these groups.

We recommend that all users that will use Complispace automatically be placed into the below groups, as they are required to log in to Complispace:

  • Fundamentals
  • Public RO

If you are not comfortable setting up sync profiles, or need assistance with anything else in this process, let us know and will be happy to help. More information on sync profiles in the Cloudwork Dashboard can be found here.

Setup in Cloudwork

You will need to provide Complispace with a link to your metadata. Your metadata can be found as Entity ID in the Cloudwork Dashboard through Single Sign On -> Identity Provider

Example of Entity ID

Then under Single Sign on Click Add New Service Then click on Complispace

Complispace will give you a link to their metadata which you will need to download and input in the next screen. They will also need details for a test user that is in at least the Fundamentals and Public RO groups.

Clicking Continue will move you to a page where you need to enter a name and upload the XML file for your new service
