AuthentID™ is Studentnet's product component that delivers modern secure convenient authentication techniques beyond a simple username and password. Increased authentication mechanisms include the many variations on multi factor authentication(MFA) and passwordless authentication. These include:
- SMS based MFA
- Authenticator based MFA
- TOTP based MFA
- Physical authenticators
- Biometric authentication
The field of authentication technology is undergoing intense development. New authentication techniques are being examined and implemented. These include emoji based, QR code based and colour based authentication
