Alerts

Alerts are notifications that are sent via email you can receive based on what activity occurs on the Cloudwork Dashboard.

How to create Alerts for User Activity

You can create Alerts to monitor the activity of a particular user, the login for a particular SSO Service, when a particular event occurs or a combination of all types.

  1. In your Cloudwork Dashboard navigate to Report
  2. Click on User Activity
  3. In For User, For SSO Service and For Event select which items you wish to be alerted for.
  4. Click Create Alert
  5. Fill out the fields and click Send alert to all super administrators if necessary
  6. Click Submit

How to create Alerts for Administrator Activity

You can create Alerts to monitor the activity of a particular Administrator, when a particular event occurs or a combination of both.

  1. In your Cloudwork Dashboard navigate to Report
  2. Click on Administrator Activity
  3. In For Administrator: and For Event: select which items you wish to be alerted for.
  4. Click Create Alert
  5. Fill out the fields and click Send alert to all super administrators if necessary
  6. Click Submit

How to create Alerts for Provisioning

You can create Alerts to monitor a particular Sync Profile, when a particular event occurs or a combination of both.

  1. In your Cloudwork Dashboard navigate to Report
  2. Click on Provisioning
  3. In For Sync Profile and For Event select which items you wish to be alerted for.
  4. Click Create Alert
  5. Fill out the fields and click Send alert to all super administrators if necessary
  6. Click Submit

Managing Alerts

In Reports> Managing Alerts, this contains a list of Alerts that have been created.

In the Manage Alert Settings, for each Alert you can:

  • Enable/Disable Alerts
  • Edit who receives the Alert with Delivery Settings
  • Get a report about the Alert with View Report
  • Delete Alerts
